Our Museum is located at Murgon...a vibrant country town in the scenic South Burnett region of South-East Queensland, Australia. Allow a good couple of hours to wander through the historical buildings which display appropriate era furnishings, equipment and memorabilia...all set out in a village style complex on spacious grounds. The Museum caters for families and tour groups of all ages. Guides are available for you to enjoy the experience and Audio Boxes are also set up in some of the buildings to help explain other aspects of how life was for our early settlers.

Murgon is located on the Bunya Highway approximately 92 kilometres west of Gympie and 245 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. The Museum is located on the edge of town just off the Gayndah Rd. at 2 Sommerville Street.
